                       Taught Environmental Science and Physics to seventh and eighth grade students in a Cambridge Public School. Developed hands-on projects to demonstrate concepts learned.

                      

Fall 1997 -     Teach a Child to Read, Tutor                                                                                     Cambridge, MA 

Spring 1999   Worked with several grade school students aged four to twelve after school to establish fundamental reading and writing skills as a part of the America Reads Program. Many of the children were ESL or reading below grade level so various activities were required to ensure interest in the material.

Summer 1997  Helped care for two boys, born March 1995 and January 1997. Responsibilities included entertaining the children, light housekeeping, preparing dinner, swimming, and computer games.

Summer 1996 Cared for three boys aged four to eleven. Prepared dinner, ensured homework was completed, put children to bed, taught them how to use the computer, and played sports outdoors.

& Summer        Lived with a family in their summer home caring for their three children age five to eleven. Activities included

1995               sailing, fishing, swimming, sewing, pressing flowers, baking, bicycling, science experiments, reading, and producing
